On Wednesday night, the football community received somber news of the passing of former Auburn wide receiver Terry Beasley at his residence. Beasley, who recorded over 2,500 career receiving yards and scored 29 touchdowns, was part of the Auburn Tigers from 1969 to 1971, sharing the field with Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Pat Sullivan.
Following his college tenure, Beasley was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, where he played from 1972 to 1975. At the time of his passing, Terry Beasley was 73 years old.
