Amidst a flurry of changes during the offseason, Eamonn Dennis is now among the players departing from Ann Arbor. He recently revealed on his Instagram profile that he’s entering the transfer portal, expressing thanks for his time in Ann Arbor, which notably included a National Championship win.
“I want to start by thanking God for guiding me since the age of six when I first stepped onto the field. The chance to play in front of millions has always been a cherished dream, one that Michigan helped me fulfill.”
“I want to express my gratitude to Coach Harbaugh, Coach Moore, Coach Herb, and the entire coaching staff for their consistent support and guidance. To my teammates, who have become like brothers to me, thank you for the unforgettable memories. Being a Michigan man has imparted lessons that will stay with me for a lifetime.”
“Having completed my studies at UMICH in an accelerated 3.5 years and still having two years of eligibility left, after careful consideration and heartfelt conversations with my family, I have decided to explore new opportunities through the transfer portal.”
“Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my journey, and forever GO BLUE!”
During his tenure at Michigan, the 5-10, 188-pound wide receiver earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2021, which aligns with his accelerated course schedule. Additionally, after another year of hard work, Dennis was recognized with the Most Improved Player on Special Teams award in 2022.
Eamonn Dennis, prior to joining Michigan, was rated as a three-star athlete on 247Sports.com. Originally from Massachusetts, he received scholarship offers from Duke, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, and Iowa. However, his destination for the upcoming fall season is currently unknown.
