The Green Bay Packers are expected to target a cornerback in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but there’s uncertainty about whether Cooper DeJean will still be available by the time the Packers make their selection at the 25th pick, as he has been projected differently in various mock drafts.
The Bleacher Report Scouting Department highlighted the Packers’ shift in focus to the defensive side of the ball, particularly with the transition to a new defensive scheme under Jeff Hafley. Despite having Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes, and Keisean Nixon at cornerback, the Packers have faced challenges due to injuries to Alexander and Stokes.
