The Minnesota Vikings commenced their rookie minicamp on Friday and finalized contracts with three of their selections from last month’s draft.
On Friday afternoon, the team revealed that kicker Will Reichard, offensive lineman Michael Jurgens, and defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez had all agreed to their initial NFL contracts. This leaves first-round picks J.J. McCarthy and Dallas Turner, fourth-round pick Khyree Jackson, and sixth-round pick Walter Rouse as the remaining unsigned draft picks for Minnesota.

All seven draft picks, along with the 17 undrafted free agents promptly signed after the NFL Draft, constitute a part of the 45 players engaged in Minnesota’s rookie minicamp. Additionally, several players from the Vikings’ 2023 practice squad are also participating. Notably, two of the tryout players were part of the Minnesota Gophers last season.
