In the previous matchup between the Panthers and the Bruins, Sam Bennett delivered a hard hit to Brad Marchand, forcing Marchand out of the game. Unfortunately, Marchand will also be absent from tonight’s game. With Florida leading the series 2-1, they are currently in a commanding position.

Interestingly, despite the physical altercation in the second game, where tensions ran high, the Bruins players refrained from seeking retribution for their captain. This restraint may have been influenced by warnings issued by the NHL to both teams.

However, it seems Pavel Zacha is undeterred by the league’s warnings. In a recent interview, he openly expressed his desire for his team to target the opposing team’s key players, echoing the strategy employed against Marchand in the previous game.

The absence of Brad Marchand, #63, will undoubtedly pose a significant challenge for the Bruins in their quest to turn the series around. The Panthers appear to possess superior talent, and the presence of Jeremy Swayman in goal doesn’t seem to intimidate them.

If the Bruins feel outmatched in terms of skill, there’s a possibility they might resort to more aggressive tactics, especially considering Pavel Zacha’s recent comments.

Now, it’s crucial for the Panthers to remain prepared, and for the referees to enforce strict standards to ensure fair play.

Game four is set to commence shortly at TD Garden, at 6:30 p.m.
