Panthers prop James Fisher-Harris is facing disciplinary action after being charged with dangerous contact by the NRL Match Review Committee following yesterday’s clash against the Warriors.

The incident occurred in the 70th minute of the Round 11 game when Fisher-Harris made a tackle on Warriors player Dylan Walker. The NRL Match Review Committee deemed the tackle to be dangerous, resulting in Fisher-Harris receiving a Grade 1 charge.

Despite the charge, Fisher-Harris will not face suspension and will only incur a monetary penalty. This means he remains eligible to play in the Panthers’ upcoming match against the Sharks on Saturday night.

While Fisher-Harris will be relieved to avoid a suspension, the incident serves as a reminder of the NRL’s commitment to player safety and the strict enforcement of rules regarding dangerous tackles.

The Panthers will likely be monitoring Fisher-Harris closely in the coming weeks to ensure he avoids any further disciplinary issues as they continue their campaign in the NRL.
