The Saskatchewan Roughriders will begin the Corey Mace era with their first preseason game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. This game will also feature the Riders’ first theme game of the season, with Monday’s theme being Community Culture.
At the stadium, fans can participate in a unique experience, including a citizenship ceremony on the field. New Canadians will sing “O Canada” for the first time as citizens. During halftime, Ukrainian dance troupes, the Yevshan Ukrainian Ensemble, and the Zabutnyy Dance Company will perform.
The first Coors Light Party in the Park of the 2024 season will start at 11 a.m. on Monday. Fans can enjoy live performances by the Mariachi Latino Band, along with DJ Tolley T, the 620 CKRM Rider Pep Band, the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team, and Gainer the Gopher. The event will also include face painting, inflatables, hair and balloon artists, cornhole, and other outdoor games for the whole family.
Game time is set for 2 p.m.
After the game, fans are invited to come down to the field to take family photos and let their kids run, jump, and play where the pros do, providing a memorable end to the day.
