Luke Jackson claims the Dockers were gradually preparing for Sunday’s incredible display against Melbourne.

According to standout tall Luke Jackson, FREMANTLE had been building slowly towards its spectacular victory over fellow finals contender Melbourne.

In Alice Springs, the Dockers completely destroyed the Demons, winning by 92 points and handing Simon Goodwin’s team their worst defeat to date as coach.”In the rooms, even Justin Longmuir, the coach, stated that we were going to lose this game. I thought it was a decent four-quarter effort,” Jackson said to AFL.com.au.

I had a great time the entire day. Each person fulfilled their responsibility and completed their tasks. Playing that game was a lot of fun.

“The last time I played here a few years ago, it was a little hotter. It was different.”

However, I adore the oval—it’s a large field, and it’s wonderful to see everyone who attended. Though there were a fair number of red and blue people in the crowd, I believe it was fairly balanced.
Jackson had been playing as the primary ruck during Sean Darcy’s injury-induced absence, but after the latter recovered from a calf injury, he has now spent the last two weeks back in the front line.
With Michael Walters back playing at the ground level after a quieter month, Jackson collaborating with Josh Treacy and Jye Amiss, and Michael Frederick serving as a crucial link player across half-forward, it’s created for a formidable attack.

The Dockers scored an astounding 22 goals against the Demons, making their total of 141 their highest since they defeated North Melbourne in the first round of the 2019 season.
“We don’t really rely on one goalkicker, we rely on a system and everyone played their role today, which was good to get on the scoreboard,” Jackson stated.

When Sean is on the team, I truly love it. We demonstrated that today, and when it’s functioning well, we have the potential to be a really formidable squad.

“[Walters] is a champion both for the team and the sport. We are really grateful for him, and we think he’s a fantastic player all around.”
