Former Indiana big man Kel’el Ware has received an invite to the NBA draft green room, according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com.

The 7-foot Ware, projected as a first-round pick in next week’s draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, is among 23 players who have received green room invitations.

Here is the full list of green room invites, per Givony:

– Zaccharie Risacher
– Alex Sarr
– Donovan Clingan
– Reed Sheppard
– Matas Buzelis
– Stephon Castle
– Dalton Knecht
– Tidjane Salaun
– Ron Holland
– Cody Williams
– Devin Carter
– Ja’Kobe Walter
– Rob Dillingham
– Nikola Topic
– Jared McCain
– Johnny Furphy
– Kyshawn George
– Kyle Filipowski
– Isaiah Collier
– Yves Missi
– Tristan Da Silva
– Kel’el Ware
– DaRon Holmes
– Zach Edey (declined)

If Ware is selected in the first round, it would mark the second consecutive year Indiana has had a player taken in the first 30 picks of the NBA draft. Last June, Jalen Hood-Schifino was picked 17th by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Indiana hasn’t had an NBA draft lottery pick since Romeo Langford was selected 14th by Boston in 2019.

For the first time, the NBA draft will span two nights this year. The first round will occur on Wednesday, June 26, followed by the second round on Thursday, June 27.
