The Clemson Tigers have been highly active on the recruiting trail in recent weeks. Dabo Swinney and his staff have been extending numerous offers as they work to strengthen their 2026 recruiting class.

A primary focus for Clemson has been the offensive line, signaling their intent to add several talented linemen to the roster.

One notable prospect, though not yet offered, is three-star offensive lineman Tre Aiken from Clinton Senior High in Clinton, South Carolina. As an intriguing in-state player, Aiken is on Clemson’s radar and anticipates an offer soon.

In a recent interview, Aiken expressed confidence about receiving an offer from Clemson, stating, “It’s coming soon. There’s little things I got to work on. The small things. Those things come. It comes natural. I’m not in a rush.”

Aiken also spoke about receiving guidance from offensive line coach Matt Luke and his eagerness to improve through constructive criticism.

“I loved it. Loved getting to work with coach Matt Luke, finally. I feel like I could have done better in the one-on-ones. I know some people think that I’m beating myself up but I hold myself to a certain standard. I expect nothing but to succeed, and this just makes me work harder. I just love to get out there and compete. I loved it out there. Love the drills. I feel like I got better.”

He appreciates Clemson’s selective offer process, noting, “That’s what I like about Clemson, they don’t just offer anybody. If you get the Clemson offer, or you’re getting very good interest from Clemson, that’s special.”

Aiken clearly has a strong interest in staying in-state and playing for the Tigers. He seems optimistic about receiving an offer and, if that happens, Clemson will likely have a good chance of securing his commitment. For now, it’s a waiting game to see what Clemson decides.
