Joe Rodon is reportedly expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur for another Premier League club after his loan spell at Leeds United ends. The 26-year-old was a defensive stalwart for Leeds last season, forming strong partnerships with Pascal Struijk and Ethan Ampadu, and making a total of 50 appearances, including in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.
While Leeds are reportedly interested in bringing Rodon back to West Yorkshire, Football Insider suggests he is likely to move to a Premier League team instead.
The newly-promoted Premier League trio of Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton have all shown interest in Wales international Joe Rodon.
Given Rodon’s impressive performances at the back, it’s understandable that he might seek a Premier League move. However, if he does not return to Elland Road, it would be a significant disappointment for Leeds fans who hoped to see him in their colors again.
Rodon may not be the only player leaving Leeds for the 2024/25 season. Crysencio Summerville is attracting interest, and there is speculation about midfielder Ilia Gruev as well.
If Summerville departs, he could fetch a substantial fee, which would help Leeds stay within financial fair play rules and potentially fund new additions to the squad.
