The Atlanta Braves are gearing up for a busy month.

Despite numerous high-impact injuries, the Braves are still seen as contenders for the 2024 World Series. They aim to strengthen their roster at the trade deadline, addressing the gaps left by Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuña Jr.

With the trade deadline approaching on July 30th, there are plenty of potential options to help the Braves. They could pursue blockbuster deals or smaller trades to enhance their lineup.

One promising target is Toronto Blue Jays center fielder Kevin Kiermaier. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Kiermaier might be on the move due to Toronto’s struggles this season.

“Free agent to be Yusei Kikuchi is probably a more likely trade candidate, along with Yimi Garcia,” Heyman said. “Rival teams would love to see Chris Bassitt out there, too. If they pay deals down, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Kevin Kiermaier, and Justin Turner are tradeable, too.”

Kiermaier, a four-time Gold Glove winner, is known for his exceptional defense. While he has struggled offensively this season, he slashed .265/.322/.419 last year, suggesting he could rebound soon.

The Braves need outfield help, and Kiermaier could provide both solid defense and a potential boost at the plate.
