Multiple tight end recruits have listed the Auburn football program among their groups of finalists. As the summer heats up, so does recruiting, and Auburn is gearing up for its next big event, Big Cat Weekend, at the end of July.

In the meantime, recruits nationwide are narrowing down their choices and preparing to make official commitments, many of which will happen before their senior high school season begins.

This week, two tight end targets for Auburn included the Tigers in their final groups. Former commit Hollis Davidson’s decision will come down to Auburn and Florida State, while 4-star tight end Kaleb Edwards listed Auburn among his final six programs.

Davidson, a 3-star tight end from Peachtree City, Georgia, initially committed to Auburn in February but retracted his pledge in May. He has since built a strong relationship with Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and has spent considerable time with the FSU coaching staff. Davidson has not yet set an official decision date.

Kaleb Edwards, Oak Ridge - Prep Redzone

Kaleb Edwards, the #8 tight end in the country from El Dorado Hills, California, included Auburn in his final six schools alongside Oregon, Texas, Washington, UCLA, and Alabama. Edwards has officially visited each program and plans to announce his decision on July 2.

While Edwards has multiple predictions favoring Alabama, his lead recruiter for the Tide previously recruited him at Washington. Following his visit to Auburn, there is optimism surrounding his potential commitment, according to Auburn Undercover.

Though neither recruit is a guaranteed commit for Auburn, the Tigers remain in contention for both Hollis Davidson and Kaleb Edwards.
