On Monday, the Boston Celtics announced their 13-man roster for the NBA Summer League. The roster features familiar faces such as JD Davison, Drew Peterson, Neemias Queta, Jaden Springer, and Jordan Walsh. These players, who have made an impression on fans, are expected to showcase their talents in Las Vegas.

Joining them are incoming draftees Baylor Scheierman from Creighton and Anton Watson from Gonzaga. Scheierman, selected with the final pick of the first round last month, caught the attention of Brad Stevens and the Celtics’ front office with his strong performance in the Big East, averaging 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game. Watson, picked 54th, is a versatile six-foot-eight big man who scored 14.5 points, grabbed 7.1 rebounds, and dished 2.6 assists per game at Gonzaga, showing an ability to hit threes with a 41.2% success rate.

Additionally, undrafted rookies Tristan Enaruna from Cleveland State and Jaelen House from New Mexico (son of NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House) made the roster. Enaruna averaged 19.6 points per game on 54.5% shooting from the field and 32.2% from beyond the arc during his senior season. House led New Mexico to a Mountain West Tournament championship with averages of 15.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

The roster also includes Tyler Cook, Ron Harper Jr., Jahmi’us Ramsey, and Killian Tillie, who all have previous NBA experience. Cook, who has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and Chicago Bulls, averaged 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in the NBA. Harper Jr. played for the Toronto Raptors, averaging two points in limited minutes. Ramsey, also from Toronto, averaged 6.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 17.3 minutes per game. Tillie spent two years with the Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 3.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 0.6 assists per game.
