The Houston Astros are reportedly enhancing their rotation by adding a starting pitcher.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, the Astros are acquiring left-handed starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi from the Toronto Blue Jays. The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal initially reported that the Astros were “close to acquiring” Kikuchi.
Rosenthal also mentioned that the Blue Jays are expected to receive rookie starter Jake Bloss in return.
