With the 2024 season’s opening weekend less than two weeks away, anticipation is building for what promises to be one of the most unforgettable years in college football history.
Conference realignment will bring fans a wealth of elite regular-season matchups between championship contenders, while the newly expanded 12-team College Football Playoff will include on-campus games in the first round.
For Michigan, the journey to defend their national championship status is anything but straightforward. It kicks off in Week 2 when the Wolverines host the Texas Longhorns at the Big House, a clash between two teams with championship hopes.
Michigan will also face Big Ten newcomers USC, Oregon, and Washington during the regular season. And in 2024, “The Game,” the storied rivalry, returns to Columbus as the Wolverines take on the Buckeyes at the Horseshoe on November 30.
