Three former Miami Dolphins inked new deals with NFL teams on Thursday.

A former Dolphins first-round pick had a workout with the Carolina Panthers after spending last season with the Detroit Lions.

Linebacker Curtis Bolton, who was in camp with the Dolphins all summer but was released on Tuesday, signed with the New York Giants on Thursday. Bolton will join the Giants’ 53-man active roster.

Standing 6-0 and weighing 228 pounds, Bolton originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2019 out of the University of Oklahoma. During his rookie season with the Green Bay Packers, he tore his ACL and was placed on injured reserve. The following season, he started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list before being waived by the Packers in October 2020.

Defensive tackle Neville Gallimore, who participated in training camp with the Dolphins this summer, signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams and will be on their 53-man active roster.

A fifth-year veteran and fellow Oklahoma alum, Gallimore joins a rotation aiming to fill the void left by Aaron Donald’s retirement. He is expected to play primarily at defensive tackle, the same position he occupied in Miami, though he also has the versatility to play at defensive end.

Tight end Eric Saubert, who was briefly with the Dolphins last season before being waived after a week on injured reserve, was re-signed Thursday by the San Francisco 49ers.

Saubert has been placed on the 53-man active roster and will serve as the third tight end behind George Kittle and Jake Tonges. Although the 49ers initially waived him on Tuesday when trimming their roster to 53 players, he was re-signed soon after.

Former Dolphins first-round pick, defensive end Charles Harris, worked out with the Carolina Panthers on Thursday. Harris, who went unsigned throughout the summer, played for the Detroit Lions last season, where he recorded 13 tackles and 1.5 sacks. NFL reporter Aaron Wilson was the first to report on this development.
