Will the Philadelphia Eagles make another move before the 2024 NFL season kicks off? Time is running out, as the Eagles are just four days away from their season opener against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil on Friday, September 6th.

Philadelphia is in a solid position heading into the new season, but there’s still room for improvement, particularly at safety. With veteran James Bradberry set to miss about two months, the Eagles are a bit thin in that area.

Bleacher Report recently highlighted former Dallas Cowboys starting safety Jayron Kearse as a player the Eagles should consider adding. “James Bradberry’s injury last week will sideline him for six to eight weeks, leaving a gap in the Eagles’ safety depth. Adding Kearse could help fill that void, especially since he’s familiar with the division after spending the last three years with the Cowboys.”

Kearse, likely the best available safety on the market, could bolster the Eagles’ secondary. While it would be surprising if Philadelphia made another addition before Week 1 in Brazil, Kearse is a name to watch as the season progresses.
