Michigan running back Kalel Mullings was named co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after another impressive 100+ yard, two-touchdown performance in Michigan’s 27-24 win against Minnesota. Mullings shared the honor with Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson.

Mullings recorded a career-high 24 carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns, marking his third consecutive game with over 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He now has 540 rushing yards, ranking third in the Big Ten, and six touchdowns, tying him for second in the conference. Mullings also averages seven yards per carry.

The last Michigan player to receive the Offensive Player of the Week award was quarterback J.J. McCarthy, following last year’s Michigan State game.

Additionally, kicker Dominic Zvada was named the Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after hitting two field goals, including a 53-yard kick. Zvada made Michigan history by becoming the first kicker to convert four 50+ yard field goals in a single season before October.

Michigan will face Washington in a National Championship rematch this weekend, with the game airing at 7:30 p.m. on NBC.
