The Houston Texans are set to regain a key piece of their defense as they have activated defensive tackle Kurt Hinish from injured reserve. Hinish, who has been sidelined with a calf injury, will be back in action after missing the start of the season.
At 25, Hinish contributed significantly during the 2023 season, playing in all 17 games, including one start. He was on the field for 41 percent of the team’s defensive snaps, making a solid impact with 22 tackles, two tackles for loss, and two quarterback hits. His return is expected to bolster the Texans’ defensive line moving forward.
