Randy Gregory, a former defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, and San Francisco 49ers, is available on the market and could be a practical addition. At 31 years old, Gregory had 2.5 sacks and 11 tackles in 12 games last season with the 49ers. Although those stats don’t stand out, Gregory has shown promise in the past, particularly during his time with the Cowboys, where he recorded six sacks in both the 2018 and 2021 seasons.
Bringing in Gregory wouldn’t require a significant financial commitment, making him an appealing option for Philadelphia. He could provide the team with additional depth at a position that is crucial for success, especially in the high-stakes moments of a playoff run. Given his availability and potential upside, giving Gregory a tryout could be a low-risk move that helps solidify the Eagles’ defensive line as they push toward the postseason.
