Agiye Hall Walks On
Agiye Hall, a former receiver for Alabama and Texas, committed to UCF on Monday. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 196 pounds, Hall was a four-star recruit out of high school. He initially joined the Crimson Tide in 2020, recording 4 receptions for 72 yards over 7 games during his freshman year. However, his performance declined at Texas, where he managed just 1 reception for 7 yards over 3 games. Hall’s move to UCF is expected to reinvigorate his career and contribute significantly to the Knights’ offensive strategy.

Hall’s past disciplinary issues are worth monitoring closely. In April 2022, he faced suspension from Alabama for violating team rules, prompting his departure from the program. Additionally, during Texas’ preseason camp in 2022, Hall was arrested and charged with removing a parking boot from his car. These incidents resulted in Hall’s limited on-field contributions and eventual decision to step away from football in March 2023. However, he resurfaced 17 months later, opting to join the UCF Knights as a preferred walk-on.

Despite his modest stature at 5-foot-10 and 159 pounds, Johnson has proven to be a productive slot receiver, amassing impressive yardage and touchdown numbers during his tenure with the Tigers.
