Five months after being released by the Seattle Seahawks, Quandre Diggs closed the door on a potential return by signing a one-year contract worth up to $5 million with the Tennessee Titans.

Diggs, 31, joined the Seahawks in a midseason trade from the Detroit Lions in 2019. During his four and a half seasons with Seattle, he became a fan favorite, accumulating 324 tackles, 32 passes defended, and 18 interceptions, and earning three consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 2020 to 2022.

Following his release at the end of the 2023 season, Diggs made sure to leave a memorable farewell. On Instagram, he expressed gratitude to God, his family, and the Seahawks organization, reflecting on how his time in Seattle was some of the best years of his life. He thanked the fans, the Seahawks’ leadership, and everyone involved in his journey.

The Seahawks will soon face Diggs and his new team, the Titans, as they head to Nashville for joint practices and a preseason game. Diggs’ departure remains a poignant moment for the Seahawks’ fanbase.
