Michigan football was missing several key players in their 27-24 win over Minnesota at the Big House, with a longer injury report than usual. Defensive backs Wesley Walker and Ja’Den McBurrows were out, while Will Johnson, Josaiah Stewart, Semaj Morgan, and Greg Crippen were listed as questionable, but although they warmed up, none of them played.
As Michigan prepares for its first road game against Washington, head coach Sherrone Moore shared that both Johnson and Stewart are improving and are likely to play. Left tackle Myles Hinton, who exited the Minnesota game, is also expected to be available, and Morgan is progressing well.
However, Moore confirmed long-term injuries for McBurrows and Jaden Mangham, with Mangham potentially returning later in the season, and Walker is expected to return at some point. Michigan will take on Washington at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
