The post garnered so much attention that Maryland Governor Wes Moore joined in on the excitement. He referenced the famous opening lines of Poe’s “The Raven” in a social media post, writing, “Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, over Davante and his career, we know how he would win rings here.” Moore, a long-time Ravens supporter, attended the team’s training camp earlier this year and has been vocal about his admiration for the team.
Moore has previously praised the Ravens, calling them “the pride of Baltimore and the envy of the world” and noting their role in uniting Marylanders on and off the field, particularly during moments of crisis.

Adams, currently with the Las Vegas Raiders, remains one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. Ravens fans got a firsthand look at his talent when he racked up 110 yards and a touchdown against Baltimore in Week 2. If the Ravens were to acquire him, he’d be the best wide receiver in the Lamar Jackson era.
While there are still logistical hurdles to a potential trade, Adams’ post has sparked hope among Ravens fans—and even Governor Moore—that a deal could be possible.
