The Tennessee Titans were hoping for a strong performance against the Indianapolis Colts, particularly from second-year quarterback Will Levis, who has been struggling so far this season. Unfortunately, both the team and Levis failed to deliver, resulting in a 20-17 loss that further dampened their hopes for a turnaround.

Levis once again had a rough outing, completing just 16 of his 27 pass attempts for a mere 95 yards, along with a touchdown and an interception. While he added 15 yards on three rushing attempts, his overall performance left much to be desired. These kinds of underwhelming numbers are becoming increasingly common for Levis in his second NFL season, raising serious concerns about his long-term viability as the team’s starting quarterback.

His lack of production is now leading to growing calls from both fans and analysts for a change at quarterback. Whether that means benching Levis or exploring other options during the offseason, it’s clear that his position on the team is in jeopardy. With each passing week, the pressure mounts on Levis to prove he can lead the Titans effectively, but his continued struggles are making that increasingly difficult.

The loss dropped the Titans to a dismal 1-4 record, placing them in a deep hole in terms of playoff contention. In contrast, the Colts improved to 3-3, highlighting the divide between the two teams. For Tennessee, climbing out of a 1-4 start and getting back into playoff contention is an uphill battle. The team has shown very little to inspire confidence, particularly on offense, where they have been consistently poor. While the defense has been solid, it hasn’t been enough to overcome the team’s offensive shortcomings.

Levis’ performance today certainly did not help his case, and the calls for a quarterback change are expected to grow louder in the coming days. With the Titans’ next game being an away contest against the Buffalo Bills, the team could easily find itself at 1-5 if things don’t improve quickly.

If Levis continues to struggle in the next few games, Titans head coach Brian Callahan might have no choice but to make a difficult decision regarding the quarterback position. As frustration among the fanbase grows, the pressure to act will likely intensify, putting the team at a critical juncture in an already tough season.
