The Tennessee Titans have recently signed Isaiah Prince, a former sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, to their practice squad. Prince, 27, is a versatile offensive tackle with experience playing for multiple NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, and Atlanta Falcons. Over his career, Prince has appeared in 21 games, starting in six of them. Notably, he was a crucial part of the Bengals’ offensive line during their 2021 season, starting the final five games and remaining a consistent presence throughout their postseason run, which culminated in a Super Bowl LVI appearance. Prince played every offensive snap for the Bengals in that Super Bowl.
Despite missing the entire 2022 season due to an elbow injury and only appearing in two games for the Falcons in 2023, Prince is now a potential candidate for a starting role with the Titans. The team’s right tackle position has been a source of concern, with Nicholas Petit-Frere struggling significantly. Although the Titans have tried different players, including Jaelyn Duncan and Leroy Watson, none have consistently performed at a high level. As a result, the team is exploring every possible option to find a reliable right tackle.
Given Prince’s previous experience working with Titans offensive coordinator Brian Callahan during their time together with the Bengals, he is a strong contender to step into the right tackle position. The Titans may even elevate Prince from the practice squad for a trial start, hoping he can bring stability to a struggling offensive line. This potential move highlights Tennessee’s ongoing effort to address their issues in the trenches as they look for someone who can protect their quarterback and contribute to their offensive success.
